Avotek puts you on the cutting edge of aviation maintenance training technology with state-of-the-art classroom textbooks, multimedia and computer-based training systems.

Avotek was formed in 1967 to serve Aviation Maintenance Technician schools (FAR 147 A&P schools). With an extensive product line and almost 40 years experience, we provide most of the resources needed to meet the FAA part 147 requirements.

Avotek Information Resources, LLC was created in 2001 to develop a full line of high-quality, modern, up-to-date classroom textbooks for today's aviation maintenance training needs.

The core of this effort is the Avotek AMT series. They are designed for today's students. Featuring clear, cutting edge illustrations and photographs as well as concise, understandable text, this series is ideal for learning about maintaining modern aircraft.

Avotek also offers a number of high-quality supplemental training materials providing in-depth coverage on specific subjects. These include:
- Modern digital avionics systems training
- Practical guides for learning about aircraft wiring practices and sheet metal
- FAA certification exam study materials
- and more titles coming on a regular basis

The hallmark of Avotek is quality. We have a team of over 30 authors who, in addition to writing for Avotek, are actively involved in either aviation maintenance training or are actively working in the aviation maintenance field. Our team of authors includes individuals from community colleges, four-year colleges and universities as well as individuals who are actively employed in corporate and airline maintenance.
