Introduction
to Interact CBT
The interact computer-based training courseware is designed to meet Level
1 and 11 teaching requirements in an efficient manner. The interAct CBT
system actively involves each student in a dynamic learning environment,
using computer graphics animation and two-dimensional aviation equipment
simulation.
Textbook & Student Disk
The textbook is an integral part of each interact program and must accompany
each student through the software presentation. It contains the core
CBT details and supporting data, worksheets, practical exercises, glossary,
exam questions, homework assignments, drawings and supporting schematics.
Students performance data are recorded into the included student disk.
This is required for system operation. At the completion of each lesson
or grading period, the disk is returned to the instructor for incorporation
into the CBT Reporter package used by the instructor.
Bookmark
At any time in the training process, the student can use an electronic
bookmark to record their stopping point. This is done by selection the
EXIT command. The bookmarked location is saved to the student disk,
thereby allowing many students to use the same presentation workstation.
Glossary of Terms & Acronyms
Each interAct CBT course includes a built-in-glossary, combining terms
and acronyms specific to the material covered in the course. The glossary
can be accessed ay any point during the course, a feature helpful during
student review of technical subject matter.
CBT Reporter
The CBT reporter module uses a dedicated instructor’s workstation
or a specified administrative computer unavailable to the general student
population, the CBT Reporter program tracks, collects and records all
student progress data. It can generate a Course Report, Which includes
the current status of all students enrolled in a particular status;
and a Student Report, which includes relevant information for a specific
student’s progress.
Note: This is an older CBT package that has not been updated in
a few years. While the content is still relevant, the on-screen appearance
is a bit dated. Each CBT package is single-user.
Compete Interact CBT Package
AVOTEK offers a set of interAct CBT courses to complete your school’s
computer-based curriculum. The six titles include: Autopilot Servos
& Approach coupling System, aircraft Electronic communication &
Navigation System, Aircraft Instrument Systems, Aircraft Speed/configuration
